CJM VR38DETT Billet FPD (Fuel Pulsation Dampened) Fuel Rails are now available for your GT-R.
These new fuel rails offer the greatest volume and interior diameter available, with a full -8 ID. Each end is threaded for -8AN, and can be supplied with -6AN reducers when needed (as shown above). The fittings use bonded sealing washers to provide the seal qualities of an o-ring, combined with the solid torque of a crush washer. These rails can be plumbed in a series or parallel. However, since these rails are capable of a full -8 cross-over, the ceiling has been raised for clean series-style plumbing.
Another feature found only in the CJM FPD rails, is the unique ability to retain your OEM Nissan Fuel Pulsation Dampers. Nissan put them there for a reason, and in our 10 years of tuning late model Nissan V6 engines, we discovered part-throttle drive-ability to be greatly enhanced in a large percentage of vehicles by re-integrating the once-removed FPDs. You can re-use your original FPDs and o-rings, or we can optionally supply you with fresh ones. The FPDs are secured to the CJM rails with precision, laser-cut, stainless steel brackets.
These rails are each one-piece billet 6065 aluminum, anodized black. Included are stainless steel cap-screws to secure the rails to your VR38DETT atop a set of chrome spacers.
Currently proven to over 1200hp with E85, with more results to come.
Options:
End Fittings or Cross-Over Hose:
Option 1: -6AN reducers at all 4 corners.
Option 2: -8AN end fittings at rear, with -8AN cross-over hose at front, for series-style plumbing
Option 3: No end fittings. Bonded sealing washers still provided.
Option 4: Complete CJM FPD S1 Fuel System (details coming soon)
Fresh FPDs:
These rails are compatible with your original FPDs included in your OEM fuel rails. Optionally, we can provide you with a fresh set of o-rings and FPDs.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Compatible with popular injectors, such as 48mm Injector Dynamics, OEM VR38DETT, DW, etc. (14mm o-ring)
The reason we do not offer an option with all -8AN end fittings, is because most -8 hose ends are too large of a radius to clear the timing chain cover when used with standard adapters in the front ends of the fuel rails. We do not want anyone to buy a bunch of hose fittings that they cannot use. This is why we provide the cross-over hose option to allow you to link the rails in series with full -8AN plumbing using hose ends that we know have a good fit and clearance.
