The Nissan oil pump in itself is quite remarkable. Most people probably probably do not realize that the pump is not only pumping oil, it is also scavenging it. The pump incorporates some of the latest oil pump rotor designs that we see in some of the aftermarket wet and dry sump pumps. Nissan has obviously put a lot of time into its design.
