350z Z33 Z1 Motorsports High-Lift Bonnet Hood Struts

The Z1 High-Lift Hood Strut Kit fits all '03-'08 350Z models and replaces the original hood prop rod with two high-lift gas-charged hood struts for a cleaner-looking engine bay and easier service. After installation, you gain an additional 12'' of underhood space at the leading edge of the hood.

Installation is simple; the provided mounting bracket and ball stud are installed in existing holes on your Z's chassis, and no modification to the chassis is required. You will have to trim the black plastic battery cover shroud and brake fluid reservoir shroud to install the lower mounting stud.

These hood struts are intended for OE aluminum hoods only. Use with fiberglass or carbon fiber hoods may lead to cracks in the center of the hood while closing.
