Version 2 custom tool for removal of the spindle pin on the rear suspension. The spindle pin is located on the rear lower control arm and must be removed in order to replace the bushings for the strut assembly to lower control arm.
Ninety percent of the time the spindle pin is VERY difficult to remove even after using penetrating lube, chisels, hammers and torches! We have personally spent 6 hours removing a stubborn pin without this tool! This tool allows for the removal of the pin in a matter of minutes with little effort. This tool will work on Datsun 240Z, 260Z and 280Z, 1970-78.
Includes: Long coupling nuts for added pulling force, extra thick wall tubing to prevent crushing and special "washer" with built in bearings to reduce friction and galling while tightening.
* Seized spindle pins: In some instances, maybe 10% of the time, we have found that the spindle pin is seized in the spindle to the point it will require a torch and a large shop press or maybe even cutting the pin out. For this reason we do not offer a warranty on the tool.
