BREXIT update for our customers based in the European Union

Brexit :(

As you know the UK has left the European Union as of 01/01/2021. While this is not ideal and most importantly has created a myriad of problems for the trade between the UK and EU, we are pleased to confirm we will continue to supply our amazing parts to you in the European Union and our shipping rates remain unchanged.

Since Brexit, there have been significant changes to how VAT is handled for our European Union customers. If you are based in the EU, you no longer pay the 20% UK VAT at the point of purchase on TORQEN's website. Instead, VAT is charged in your home country when the items arrive, through the courier delivering your order. Couriers like UPS, DPD, DHL, FedEx, and Royal Mail will collect VAT (and any applicable duties) before completing delivery.

The prices displayed on our website include 20% VAT by default, as required for our UK customers. However, once you create an account and enter your address in any EU country, our system will automatically deduct the 20% VAT from the prices shown. This means you will see the net amount you’ll be paying at checkout.

When your parcel arrives in your country, your courier will contact you to arrange payment of VAT at your local rate (which varies depending on your country). This process ensures compliance with EU import regulations and allows you to pay VAT directly to your government rather than to us in the UK.

We’ve made these adjustments to provide clarity and transparency for our EU customers, ensuring a smooth shopping experience. If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is always here to help.
