Traditionally, when attaching a horringer gearbox to a vehicle, it was necessary for users to mold them according to the chassis themselves, to arrange metallic materials, to manufacture jigs, and to assemble work such as material cutting and drilling welding.
However, unless the drive line from the engine to the differential is accurately laid out, vibrational forces arise due to the joint angle and the imbalance between the engine and the drive system, causing significant vibration during traveling. Excessive vibration of the drive train deteriorates drivability and induces deterioration of chassis rigidity. By selecting proper materials and high precision machining, the gearbox mount ensures accurate and high rigidity of the drive line equivalent to the standard car. Moreover, it can drastically shorten the work time.
