This is a genuine carbon bonnet, but the material is reversed from the normal carbon bonnet. This is a type NH2 model with FRP on the front and twill weave carbon material on the back. The surface of this NH model is unpainted. This is a back carbon bonnet made with a completely opposite idea to conventional carbon bonnets. The front side is covered with genuine color paint, and the back side is made of carbon material, which is a suitable expression for the Type R that emphasizes racing. For those who don't want to change the exterior, and while promoting the normal model, the lighter weight and the sense of superiority when you open the hood are unique to Type R users. The carbon bonnet type NH has been reinforced on the back and weighs 4kg compared to the original 10kg, making it extremely lightweight. For installation, use the bonnet striker in the same way as the original. Since it is a genuine shape, it is recommended for those who are concerned about rainwater and dust contaminating the engine compartment. The engine room is less dirty compared to the ducted version. Genuine insulation material can also be installed. In consideration of safety, when driving on the street, you can use the genuine striker without worry even without the bonnet pin. However, when doing sports driving such as circuit driving, the bonnet lock may come off due to wind pressure due to the lightweight bonnet, so we recommend using a bonnet pin for safety reasons. We recommend applying a UV-cut clear coating to the carbon bonnet to maintain its luster for a long time.
