Excess heat is always an issue with any performance engine, as is sufficient oil pickup during high performance driving.
This custom Aluminum Oil Pan is not only stronger than the original, it was designed to answer these issues in several ways:
The Aluminum construction has outstanding heat dissipation compared to steel.
The pan is wider than stock, improving cooling efficiency with more air-flow-facing surface area.
Fins designed into the Aluminum increase heat transfer even farther.
The 5.5 Liter oil capacity helps both with heat dissipation and having a consistent oil supply to the pickup tube.
The pan was designed with a one-way flowing, four-direction baffle plate. This new technology keeps the oil centered on the oil pickup, regardless of the G-forces the car is experiencing during extreme acceleration, cornering, or braking.
Even at low G-forces, the compartmented design keeps more oil available to the oil pickup. Even short interruptions to oil pickup can cause damage to your engine.

This Kameari product was originally a Special Order item with a 6-8 week timeframe to arrive from Japan (it was incorrectly listed online as taking 3-4 weeks).
