Description:
Under the right circumstances (such as sustained high engine RPM's and high heat), almost any bolt, regardless of how tightly it is held in place, can loosen or even warp. One of the worst possible (and most likely) bolts this could happen to on your performance L6 Z (240Z/260Z/280Z/280ZX) is the crank pulley bolt! Fortunately, Kameari has designed a reinforced bolt that is stronger than anything else on the market (including the discontinued Nissan Competition bolt!) and is also specifically designed, machined, and treated so that it will not come out unless you intentionally remove it.
Note:
Nissan Competition noted that the use of an upgraded crank pulley bolt was required for their racing damper, while it was recommended when the Euro Damper was used in standard operation (it was still required for competition use). Kameari Racing Dampers are somewhat similar in design to the Nissan Comp. damper, and also require the use of an upgraded bolt. According to Nissan Competion, using an insufficiently manufacturered crank bolt with a damper in competition use (which includes factory bolts) can lead to a loosened bolt or even the damper welding itself to the crankshaft.

This Kameari product was originally a Special Order item with a 6-8 week timeframe to arrive from Japan (it was incorrectly listed online as taking 3-4 weeks). We were recently able to work out a better deal with them that allowed us to lower our price on all of their products while speeding up the shipping time to us.
