Kameari Street Performance Damper, 70-83 Z/ZX

Description:

Kameari's Street Performance Damper (Crankshaft Pulley) for the L6 (240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX) was made to handle higher-revving performance engines while working well on street driven applications. The 136mm diameter single groove pulley features a damper that reduces oscillation with minimal effect on the water pump or alternator speed while meeting SFI Specifications. It also comes with a high quality 13mm Fan Belt and a longer timing indicator. Unlike the racing version, this Street Performance Damper is designed to be used with the factory size water pump and alternator pulleys.

Note:
An upgraded Crank Pulley Bolt is required. The factory crank bolt is too short for use with performance and racing dampers (such as this Kameari or the Nismo Competition Damper). The upgraded bolt is machined and treated specifically to be able to properly hold the correct torque setting under high temperature, high stress environments (such as sustained high RPM use). Pulley Restrictions:
Since the crankshaft pulley is designed for only one belt, this kit cannot be used with power steering, air conditioning, factory smog pumps, or any other device that requires a second belt.

Kameari Product Note:
All Kameari products were originally Special Order items with a 6-8 week timeframe to arrive from Japan (they were incorrectly listed online as taking 3-4 weeks). We were recently able to work out a better deal with them that allowed us to lower our price on all of their products while speeding up the shipping time to us. All Kameari products are still sourced from the manufacturer in Japan.
