All of our built engines are individually handcrafted at AMS using the same care as the ones found in our world record setting race cars. When you choose an AMS engine you are investing in the knowledge gained from assembling thousands of race engines over the past 20+ years. Just like in our 3000+ WHP race cars, every motor is balanced, blueprinted and assembled to our precise specifications. Before assembly each block is checked for correct dimensions, cylinder bore, main alignment, block flatness, and more to ensure you get the best foundation for your new engine. Every engine we assemble has an archived spec sheet where tolerances, torque specs, and clearances are documented as part of our standard quality control process.

While we believe this product is either CARB EO exemption applicable, or complies with the EPA's Anti-Tampering Policy, we have not completed the required testing and administrative process at this time. This product is not available to purchase for emissions-controlled vehicles located within the state of California, or available to ship to California addresses, without a completed AMS Race Waiver form. International users outside of the United States should act in accordance with their local laws and regulations.

Assumes that a good condition core long block is sent in to build from. To avoid confusion and the possibility of missing parts we ask that all long blocks are shipped to us fully assembled from valve covers to oil pan, including timing covers and crank pulley. Components that are not in reusable condition will have replacements quoted during the engine assembly process.
